Our Pasture-Raised Utility Chickens offer the exact same premium quality you’ve come to expect from our farm, but at a discounted rate of $5.50/lb. These birds lived the same healthy life—foraging in fresh grass, enjoying sunshine, and moving to new pasture daily—but they didn't quite make the "Grade A" aesthetic cut. 

In the world of small-scale farming, things don’t always look "factory perfect." A "Utility" bird is simply a chicken with a slight cosmetic defect, such as: Skin tears, or a missing wing or drum stick.
